Reactions

Hey peeps.

So the mister and I went to Dr. C on Thursday. They did routine stuffs, weighed me, took my blood pressure (110/70, a good score :)), reviewed my blood work (A+ blood, not anemic...), did some other boring, boring stuff and then ultrasound time! She put the reader thing on my tummy and turned on the screen and BAM! there baby was, all blown up big on the screen.

It was the cutest little 2" person I have ever seen (and I haven't even met him/her yet!).  The little heart was fluttering like a baby butterfly and oh, those tiny fingers! Baby Bee got grumpy or camera shy and flip flopped and Dr. C had a hard time getting a good picture and measurement. The ultrasound only lasted a couple minutes but I was totally mesmerized, the Oscar goes to Baby Bee for the best 30 second performance in history! I think I would have cried if had lasted a second longer...

We got a long strip of all the pictures she attempted to take, with one really good one. I can't believe that at 12 weeks, you can already see how human Baby Bee looks! Can you believe that fingerprints are already forming? Crazy, I tell you. Dr. C says I won't be able to feel any of the movements for awhile, so for now Baby Bee gets to rock out in complete privacy :)

If you look close enough, it almost looks like Baby Bee is making a monkey face, fingers in ears and tongue sticking out. What a silly baby, already goofing up family pictures. 

Even if Baby Bee is already practicing his/her sassy expressions, I can't stop looking at that tiny little body. It all just blows my mind.

Mister and I almost fought over who was going to take the pictures to work the next day (I won. As usual) and after school when I asked him who he showed a copy of the picture to, he sheepishly said, "Hm, maybe just a few peeps...ok, ok, ok, so pretty much everyone I saw." He even admitted later that he got a little choked up when he saw Baby Bee on the big screen, I love that boy.

I'll write a post later starting from the very beginning, although, I will try harder to make that entry way more entertaining than it actually has been :)
