So...my doctor's office does elective gender scan ultrasounds between 16-18 weeks although insurance doesn't cover it, so it would cost $50.
I will be 16 weeks on Thursday so it could be as early as this weekend...
What do you think?
Should I schedule it early or just wait until the 20 week appointment (mid-May) when they do the anatomy scan (including looking for any anatomy abnormalities and gender and measurements etc.)
I can't wait to actually have a little cute bump and to feel all the neat movements that everyone talks about. All I'm feeling right now is a sore chest and lower back pain...
oh and what I really want to do is stay home and work on my newest crochet project for Baby and watch Netflix :)
There are 5 more Mondays left of school and I just found out yesterday that school ends a day earlier than I thought, crazy! I am having totally mixed feelings about it. I have SO much work ahead of me, the last 6 weeks is ALWAYS busier and more stressful (IMO) than the first 6 weeks. But also, I have the bestestestest co-workers and I know 2-4 of them will be leaving this coming year. I'm really bummed about that. They and the cute lil chickies are definitely the reasons I get to work in the mornings.
There are days though that I have to psych myself up in before the day starts and try hard to convince myself I am making a difference, that I am enough, and that I am not perfect and that is ok.
Oh and as of this moment, Baby doesn't have a name. Not even a list of potentials. Mister turns down EVERY. SINGLE. BLASTED. name. It is very frustrating. I probably read off 100+ names yesterday and every one was "no" or "meh".
Oh Baby, I hope we agree on one in the next 5 months...any suggestions?
Off the top of my head I like Adeline. Also Gregory. Also Geoffrey. Also Emma. Also Elsie. Also Klinton... wait. No, I love Klinton;)
ReplyDeleteI will update soon. Since this is your blog, I think that for every post I do, you should do two. Its only fair. Coming: Pregnancy and Anti-Depressants.
