Kick in the pants?

Hey peeps.

So...I'm pretty sure I've been feeling this bell pepper of a baby for the last few days. I'm not 100% convinced but it hasn't been feeling like my normal tummy rumbles and jumbles. It's almost like popcorn popping just below my belly button.
It doesn't happen often, typically when I'm lying down really still and/or when I'm chillin on the couch just catching up on the blogosphere.  They say you can start feeling baby punches and kicks and things starting at 17w (I'm 18w and 3d today!). I can't wait until I'm SURE. Plus also, it's going to be totally awesome when my Mister can feel it from the outside too.

We only have a few weeks of school left and I'm trying not to think about it...I have just about all my meetings taken care of (10/12 done and 2 phone calls to make). I just have my kiddos' graduation to plan among a few other things too.  I'm quite sad seeing that at least 3-4, maybe more, of my peeps won't be back next year. I've had such a great time working with these gals and I'm gonna miss them terribly. Plus, not to mention my kids are by FAR the cutest things I've ever seen. For realsies.

We went and saw the Avengers this weekend. Besides the fact that we shared a big ol drink and I was in pain from having to pee (I would have gotten up but I was in the middle of the back row), it was quite awesome.
I know lots of girls and ladies love that flashy Iron Man but cocky doesn't do much for me...I'm more of a Captain America girl. That boy is just so goooooood lookin. The effects were cool too ;)

My tummy continues to get bigger/rounder but I haven't gained much.  My mister doesn't complain much now when/what I'm eating. All I've wanted lately is anything super junky. I've been able to eat asparagus and chicken and other things without being totally revolted or getting heartburn.
Phew! I'm feeling a lot more like my "old self"- my energy and my playfulness is back :) I also bought me some suhweeeeeet maternity pants. I think I just might wear these ALL. THE. TIME. They are outrageously comfy and very cute actually.

I finished my first crochet dress for a  toddler this weekend :) I just need to sew on a button and make a flower for it and then I'm done. I think I'll post pictures when it's totally finished. It's quite cute.

Oh. Lastly. 11 days and we'll find out if we are team pink or team blue! Ahhhh!
