cravings and aversions

CRAVINGS:
(which are really more like "this is what I can/want to eat without gagging")
I have been wanting fruit so badly. Especially oranges and orange juice. I have to be careful though, I ate almost an entire bag of clementines from Costco all by myself in a week. All that citric acid isn't so nice on my already sensitive tummy.
Also, I just want carbs, carbs, carbs. Soft pretzels, cinnamon bread, bagels, donuts, muffins, toast, cereal, potatoes in every form...
you get the jist.
If I ate an entire cherry pie, does that count as both carbs and fruit? What about an apple fritter?
Just wondering...

AVERSIONS:
Just the IDEA of having these under my nose, in my mouth, within smelling distance, is enough to make my yack. Seriously. Believe me, it has happened. Twice.
I haven't been too excited about eating vegetables, but have choked down some, just not those ones.
I've had chicken a few times and red meat (not on a burger, that doesn't count) only once. I cannot WAIT until I have my normal appetite back. Until then, sorry Mr. Tuna, Sir Spinach and Lady Asparagus. You will not be invited for dinner.

Many times I have to run into the kitchen holding my nose and averting my eyes...if I see/smell a whiff of ANYTHING that doesn't smell like fresh orange peels, party is over. I can barely stand the smell of our hand soap.

Wish me luck in finding something for dinner. I have a feeling it may come down to Rice Krispies or a cheese quesadilla, but only if the Mr. will let me get away with it.

  1. It is mostly sad that you cant eat spinach... that's the most delicious of all.
